July 2021 - The Deva of Flowers

The Rose, the Queen of Flowers is seen sometimes splendidly adorned in robes of crimson velvet. She can also be yellow, or white, or peach, or pink, or salmon, or lavendar. She can also be seen as the cutest little button flower in solid pink, or red, or white or red and white striped. She can be regal or cute. but within any of her representations, is there ever more perfect symmetry anywhere? The dahlia may disagree! As might the chrysanthemum, both of whose petals glorify the hands of the Creator with their perfect symmetry. Ahh! But as the symbol of Love, there is no parallel - Unconditional Love, Undying Love, Everlasting Love, Perpetual Love, Indiscriminate Love. In ALL forms of Love, the Rose reigns supreme.

(Dedicated to my Mother, Janina Witkowska Czarnopys, who, had she lived, would have celebrated her 100th birthday this year on July 21. She loved the month of July and she loved flowers, especially crimson roses.)
